Telvin Nash, Isaias Tejeda named to Silver Annivesary Team

First baseman Telvin Nash and catcher Isaias Tejeda have been named to the Atlantic League Silver Anniversary team. The duo combined to help the York Revolution win the 2017 ALPB Championship.

Tejeda was a two-time Atlantic League Postseason All-Star, being honored as the top catcher in the league in 2017 and 2019. During the 2016 season, he put together a 28-game hitting streak, the second-longest in league history. Twice elected to the Atlantic League All-Star game, Tejeda finished the 2023 season with the Charleston Dirty Birds. He ranks in the top 15 all-time with a .310 career batting average.

Nash was the Atlantic League Player of the Year in 2019 when he hit .294 and led the league with 107 runs scored, 41 homers, 100 RBI and a .623 slugging percentage. Nash slammed an ALPB record 77 extra base hits in 2019. A member of the 2019 Atlantic League All-Star team, he was also the league’s Postseason All-Star first baseman. In 2017, he was named the Most Valuable Player in the League Championship Series for York, leading the Revs to a three-game sweep of Long Island. Nash posted another productive year in 2023 with the Dirty Birds, hitting 20 homers and driving in 69 runs. He finished the year with 124 career homers, tied for the fifth-most in league history.

The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2023 and its ten member clubs have selected elite former players to comprise the official ALPB Silver Anniversary team. A total of 25 players have been selected to commemorate the league’s first quarter century. The list of honorees is comprised of former Players of the Year, Pitchers of the Year, League Championship MVPs, All-Stars and record holders, the most talented players to ever grace an Atlantic League ballpark.
