Long Island and High Point have secured ALPB playoff berths by winning their respective first half championships.
Should either Long Island or High Point win their respective second half pennants, a Wild Card team would gain entry to the postseason. But the Wild Card only gets into the playoffs if a team wins both halves of its division.
These are the Wild Card standings following the conclusion of play on Friday, September 8.
Entering play on September 9, Lancaster holds a half-game lead in the North over Southern Maryland. Long Island is 4.5 games behind.
In the South, Gastonia holds a half-game lead over High Point.
