Frederick 9, Gastonia 6 Frederick’s Sunday win was littered with franchise firsts, including their biggest comeback yet as they used a seven run ninth inning to walk off Gastonia, 9-6. Jose Marmolejos provided the big swing, a three-run home run to cap off the comeback and give Frederick their first win of the year against Gastonia, and send the home question mark jerseys out on the highest of notes. After both pitchers had scoreless first innings, Gastonia struck first on a solo home run to lead off the second inning by Carlos Franco.
