The Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced today that outfielder Adam Greenberg has been signed by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim organization. Greenberg will report to North Little Rock, Arkansas and join the Arkansas Travelers of the Texas League (Class AA).

The Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced the signing of catcher Shea Harris. Harris will join Brian Munhall as the second catcher on the team. Bridgeport lost their starter, Brian Peterson, when he signed with the Baltimore Orioles organization.

LANCASTER, Pa.—The premier high school baseball event in Lancaster and Lebanon counties will take place at Clipper Magazine Stadium in 2008. The championship of the Lancaster-Lebanon League baseball tournament will be played at Clipper Magazine Stadium on Thursday, May 15. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

The Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced the acquisition of right-handed relief pitcher Matt Pike. Pike comes to Bridgeport from Atlantic City of the Canadian-American League for future considerations.

The Bridgeport Bluefish announced today that catcher Brian Peterson has been signed by the Baltimore Orioles organization. Peterson is the first player this season to be signed by a Major League affiliate out of the Atlantic League and will join the Bowie Baysox of the Class AA Eastern League.
