JIM MAGRANE - SOMERSET PATRIOTS

Magrane finished the 2009 season as the first ever Atlantic League pitcher to lead the league in wins, ERA, and strikeouts. He finished with a 15-4 record, a 2.70 ERA, and 134 strikeouts in 183 innings pitched in 27 games. Magrane’s 15 wins tied a Patriots single-season record with Brian Adams (2007). He is the third Patriots pitcher to win the award, joining Justin Jensen (1999) and Adams (2007).
