York Revolution first baseman Chad Tracy hit .444 (8-18) over six games with three home runs, eight RBI, seven walks and five runs scored to be named Atlantic League Player of the Week for September 8-14.
The Atlantic League's experiment, so far at least, is working. Last Thursday, it released the results from the first 30 days of the trial, and the league has shaved nine minutes off the average nine-inning (or eight-and-a-half inning) game.

As part of their 'Shadow a Player' program, Bluefish pitcher Kyle McMillen recently spent time with young fan Seth Goldstein before Bridgeport took on the Sugar Land Skeeters and made him a part of his gameday routine. Goldstein had the opportunity to warm up with McMillen before the game as well as take part in team stretches and spend some time with the team in the dugout.
